Information on Net Neutrality

Dear Rye Telephone Customers,

You may have heard that the FCC recently reclassified Broadband Internet Access Service as a Title 1 information service instead of a Title II communication service. This reclassification has been referred to in the media as Repealing Net Neutrality.

We understand that many of our customers are wondering how this will impact their services from Rye Telephone. There are many benefits of being a customer of a local rural provider. Nothing has changed on Rye Telephone’s network that would affect your experience and use of your services. Rye Telephone does not block, throttle, or discriminate against access to lawful content or applications, and we take firm measures to protect customer information.

Rye Telephone thanks you for being our customer. Click here to view the FCC fact sheet.
